My Forever Model

One of my favorite things about Angela is how much she pushes me to shoot more, and the fact that she will spontaneously model for me at any point. Sunday night’s are our nights to spend a little time together with no kids around. This last Sunday we grabbed dinner per usual, did some Christmas shopping, stopped at Scout and took in a view of the city. After that, we headed in to the West Bottoms, for some piece and quiet and impromptu photo making. Here are a few shots of her from playing on trains, and standing in front of my Jeep.

My KansasCity365 project on Instagram is in full swing and will likely drive me crazy at some point. My goal is to show 365 different photos of Kansas City, over the next year. Angela recommended I put all of the photos into a book at the end of a project. so look for details on that next year sometime. Follow along on Instagram, if you already don’t.

Keep up on Flickr and Instagram for more frequent posts. Also, if you’d like prints, head over to Society6.

Kansas City’s Flat Iron in the West Bottome

This last weekend I spent more time on two wheels, then I have since our Flint Hills Ride in July. I met Angela and the kids at the park and lunch on Friday, then spent some time exploring the NKC industrial area before meeting my buddy Steven for a ride in the West Bottoms. Saturday, I rode a few miles north of Parkville to spend the afternoon and evening with Angela and Kids, then home again Sunday morning. I took plenty of photos, but not as much as I liked. I was more focused on the ride. Above are a few of my favorite shots from the weekend.
